Job DescriptionEngineering Program Lead, Capital Projects
Location: Burbank, CA 90210
A day in the role
It’s 8:45 a.m. in Burbank. You’ve just skimmed the latest status dashboards and you’re walking into a cross-functional sync. Product has a new requirement; Operations has a timeline risk; your engineering team has three design alternatives ready. You facilitate the conversation, align objectives, and set a path forward that protects the schedule and budget—without sacrificing engineering rigor.
By mid-morning, you’re reviewing drawings and specifications, making the final call on a design approach that meets standards and clears a key dependency. After lunch, you lead a risk review, shaping mitigation plans that keep milestones intact. Before the day closes, you brief stakeholders with a crisp summary of progress, decisions, and next steps—and spark fresh thinking by introducing a tool that could accelerate verification on the next project.

- Formal review and approval of designs, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Proactive risk identification with clear mitigation strategies to ensure predictable outcomes.
- Rhythms of execution: regular status meetings, stakeholder updates, and decision logs.
- Compliance with applicable industry standards and regulations across all phases.
- Applied innovation—evaluating new technologies and methods that improve performance and results.
Your background
