Building Maintenance Technician

Arbors Management has an opening for a Building Maintenance Technician in Franklin, PA. This full-time position will involve working in plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, groundskeeping and custodial. As the Building Maintenance Technician, your responsibilities will include:
- Performing physical and visible inspection of property grounds including outside areas, indoor commons areas and individual apartment units
- Communicating with tenants regarding needed repairs
- Performing needed repairs which will consist of the following:

- Painting & Drywall repair
- Grass cutting and snow removal
- Assisting with unit turnovers
- Basic electrical repair (switches, outlets, fixtures, etc.)
- Basic plumbing repair (leaks, fixture changes, drain clogs, etc.)
- General cleaning and groundskeeping
- Completing work orders
- Handling emergency calls after hours as needed
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of maintenance related experience OR technical training in a related field
- Physical ability to stand, bend, walk, stoop, crawl and/or climb for the duration of an 8-hour shift
- Able to work in an on-call rotation with other maintenance staff for after hours repairs
- Excellent communication skills
- Solid computer skills
- Able to lift 50 lbs. without assistance
- Must have a valid driver's license and personal vehicle
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings
