Certified Apartment Staffing is seeking an experienced Lead Maintenance Technician for a multifamily apartment community in Oldsmar, FL. Responsibilities
- Lead and assist the maintenance team with daily operations and work assignments.
- Perform HVAC troubleshooting, repairs, preventative maintenance, and system replacements.
- Complete resident service requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Oversee apartment make-readies to ensure units are prepared for new move-ins.
- Perform plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, carpentry, and appliance repairs.
- Conduct preventative maintenance throughout the community.
- Assist in maintaining pools, common areas, and community amenities as needed.
- Identify and report safety concerns while ensuring compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
- Coordinate with the Property Manager and Regional Maintenance team regarding maintenance priorities.
- Maintain accurate records of completed work orders and inventory.
- Participate in the on-call rotation for after-hours maintenance emergencies.
Qualifications
- EPA Universal HVAC Certification is required.
- Previous experience as a Lead Maintenance Technician or extensive apartment maintenance experience is required.
- Minimum 3+ years of multifamily apartment maintenance experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing, drywall, carpentry, and appliance repair.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues independently.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
- CPO (Certified Pool Operator) Certification is a plus.
- Experience with preventative maintenance programs.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
