What You’ll Be Doing as the Project Architect
- Lead restaurant, retail, automotive, and office projects through design development, construction documents, permitting, and construction administration.
- Produce and manage detailed Revit models, construction documents, technical details, schedules, and drawing sets.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal team members to keep projects moving forward.
- Support design decisions with code research, material knowledge, building systems coordination, and documentation accuracy.
- Help manage project scope, timelines, deliverables, and communication across multiple active assignments.
- Guide junior staff through Revit standards, documentation workflows, design intent, and technical problem-solving.
- Represent the firm with professionalism in client meetings, consultant coordination sessions, and site observations.
- Contribute to high-quality architecture that reflects the needs of clients, communities, and the Dallas region.
About You as the Project Architect
- 5-10 years of architectural experience, ideally with commercial project experience.
- Highly proficient in Revit, with the ability to produce accurate models, coordinated documents, and strong technical drawing sets.
- Architectural registration is not required.
- Experience with restaurant, retail, automotive, office, tenant improvement, or branded commercial environments is highly valued.
- Strong technical knowledge of building codes, construction detailing, materials, and project delivery.
- Experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, or related design and documentation tools is helpful.
- Confident communicator who can coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to balance design quality with schedules, budgets, and documentation requirements.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to mentor team members and contribute positively to studio culture.
- Interest in advancing meaningful, well-crafted commercial architecture in Dallas.
