Responsibilities:
- Java coding and testing, support for integration and test and Trouble Report fixes.
- Working as a member of a multi-functional team to deliver software/hardware applications on an aggressive timeline to support soldier training.
- Design and documentation of solutions.
- Implementation of software designs.
Duties:
- Implement components as directed
- Participate in Agile software development ceremonies (scrum, retrospective, etc.)
- Support integration into larger system developed remotely
Required Skills:
- Object Oriented design background
- Strong background in Java
- Ability to test and debug
Preferred Accreditation/Experience:
- Linux
- Android
- Distributed Development
- Agile development
- Embedded software
- DoD live training systems
- Containerization
Required Education/Experience:
- 4-year degree from an accredited institution in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years in application development for embedded systems.
- Proven working experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting UNIX/Linux and Android based environments.
- Be willing and able to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret clearance. Applicants who accept a conditional offer of employment may be subject to government security investigation(s) and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
