Job Description
As a Security Officer Patrol Presence in Hainesport, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support employees and visitors with strong customer service and communication. In this unarmed role, you will be part of a team that values being agile, reliable, and innovative, while putting people first and acting with integrity throughout every shift.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the building perimeter, parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and other assigned areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and/or vendor access as directed, and report security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
- Observe trailer yards, loading areas, and high-traffic logistics spaces for unusual conditions, helping to support orderly operations and a professional environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
