The Groundskeeper plays a vital role in maintaining the aesthetic appeal and safety of the property grounds. Working with a medium-sized team, the Groundskeeper supports the Grounds Manager by performing lawn care, landscape maintenance, and operating company-provided equipment. This role involves routine upkeep to ensure well-groomed and healthy outdoor spaces.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, and trimming
- Maintain landscaping elements such as flower beds, trees, and shrubs
- Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment safely and efficiently
- Work collaboratively within a medium-sized team (6-15 members)
- Follow directions and report progress to the Grounds Manager
- Ensure grounds are clean, safe, and visually appealing
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in groundskeeping or related outdoor maintenance
- Familiarity with lawn maintenance techniques
- Basic knowledge of landscaping practices
- Experience operating groundskeeping equipment
