If you thrive on preventing breakdowns before they happen and keeping complex production systems humming, this role is for you.
Your Impact
- Keep critical equipment reliable: perform PM on vacuum glass lifters, silicone pumps, and production machinery
- Execute repairs across the shop and production floor
- Diagnose issues through observation, testing, and root-cause analysis
- Respond quickly to maintenance calls and supervisor-assigned tasks
- Complete monthly safety inspections in assigned zones
- Handle light facility upkeep (drywall, paint)
- Carry out basic electrical work in office areas (LED bulbs, drivers)
- Cut downtime via timely PMs and rapid corrections
- Coordinate maintenance timing with production planning
- Repair/rebuild parts using machining tools
- Own MRO supplies: track inventory, order parts, and verify deliveries
- Promote a safe, compliant work environment
- Train operators on equipment use and basic care
- Continuously learn and apply new best practices
- Assist with broader production/maintenance priorities as needed
What You Bring
- LEAN/5S knowledge
- Robotics/automation exposure (preferred)
- Proven troubleshooting skills and root-cause thinking
- Independence and reliability with minimal supervision
- Strong organization and time management
- Safety mindset and policy adherence
- Tidy, well-organized work habits
- Ability to lift 50 lbs; willing to work overtime
- Able to climb ladders and operate a scissor lift
Physical Requirements
- Regular repetitive lifting and other physically demanding tasks
- Safely move items up to 50 pounds
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience as a maintenance technician or similar
- Electrical and/or welding experience (preferred)
- Basic knowledge of plumbing and compressed air
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Technical certification in maintenance or related field (preferred)
