Job Description
Senior Project Manager, Industrial — Lead Heavy Projects for a Powerhouse GC
Las Vegas, NV | Full-Time, Exempt | $140,000 – $200,000
The Opportunity
Industrial work separates real builders from the rest — process systems, heavy structure, demanding owners, and schedules that ripple through entire operations. Our client, one of the Southwest's largest general contractors with 50 years of building and projects exceeding $100M, is hiring a Senior Project Manager with an industrial focus for their Las Vegas headquarters. You'll lead major industrial projects end to end — and help shape how the company grows its industrial portfolio. Big autonomy, big projects, and compensation to match.
Why You'll Love It
- Senior-level autonomy: Full ownership of major industrial projects, from pursuit through closeout
- Portfolio influence: Help drive the company's industrial market growth, not just execute it
- Top-of-market pay: $140K–$200K with room to reflect your track record
- Full benefits + Nevada: Medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, parental leave, PTO — no state income tax
What You'll Do
- Lead large industrial projects end to end — budget, schedule, quality, safety, and client relationships
- Own project financials at scale: forecasts, cost reports, billings, cash flow, and margin performance
- Support preconstruction — estimating input, constructability reviews, procurement strategy, and subcontractor buyout
- Negotiate and administer major subcontracts and owner contracts; lead change and claims management
- Drive master schedules across structural, process, and MEP-heavy scopes with field leadership
- Manage owner, designer, and vendor relationships at the executive level
- Lead and develop project teams — PMs, APMs, and Project Engineers
- Coordinate self-perform work scopes with company field operations
- Identify and mitigate risk from pursuit through turnover
- Support business development with client relationships and pursuit strategy for industrial work
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field — or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of commercial/industrial construction project management with a general contractor
- Proven delivery of large industrial projects — manufacturing, process facilities, warehouse/distribution, or similar heavy scopes
- Deep command of contracts, cost control, scheduling (P6), and change management
- Experience leading and developing project teams
- Strong owner-facing presence and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office
- Comfort in both office and active job site environments
Drug-free workplace. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
