Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing Adult and Children Services to ensure that all clinical staff understand the concept and how to make it successful.
- Responsible for resolving billing denials.
- Responsible to attend community meetings.
- Responsible for day-to-day office management.
- Responsible for resolving documentation errors and corrections with adult clinical staff.
- Responsible to manage the EOD process in your assigned area.
- Responsible to coordinate with judges for Mental Health Court and Drug Court, if area has contract.
- Responsible for PAP coordination/medication contract.
- Responsible to mange the Service Quality Enhancement in your area.
- Responsible to ensure that your area meets/exceeds the performance tier standards.
- Responsible in for interviewing adult and children clinical and clerical staff.
- Responsible in managing the adult and children-based contracts within your area.
- Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Assurance (QA), Utilization Review (UR), Medical Records, Critical Incidents and Client Complaints in the assigned area for adult and children’s clinical staff.
- Responsible for Medical Record compliance with all state and federal regulatory requirements, including ODMHSAS, OHCA, and CARF for records.
- Responsible to facilitate staff meetings, regularly
- Responsible to perform clinical supervision with all direct care staff.
- Responsible to participate in Management Meetings monthly.
- Responsible for the direct supervision of staff in your assigned Area.
- Responsible to contact HR Director prior to any disciplinary action performed.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in psychology or social work field
- Minimum of three (1) year progressive clinical services.
- State Licensure or license eligible( LPC, LBP, LADC, LCSW, Ph.d)
- Possess accurate assessment and referral skills.
- Possess the ability to provide appropriate treatment interventions relative to the specific needs of each person served.
- Able to provide effective treatment (as evidenced by) persons on caseload consistently meeting individual treatment goals.
- Will abide by ethical policies and practices for both CREOKS and State oversight agencies and boards.
- Understand and abide by all legal aspects of clinical practices.
- Understand and abide by all professional standards, including boundaries.
- Able to provide culturally competent treatment.
- Clinical documentation shall meet CREOKS, state, and national standards.
- Understand Case Management services.
- Ability to assess and coordinate the work of clinical and support staff.
- Conceptual grasp of community based mental health and substance abuse services.
- Core competencies in relation to individuals with co-occurring disorders.
