We are in need of a pest control technician to join our growing team! You’ll investigate potential pest invasions, identify when an issue does exist, and deploy appropriate pest control techniques to eliminate the problem. Compensation:
$41,000 - $60,000 yearly
Responsibilities:
- Document each job so we know which properties we have provided treatment to
- Answer any questions regarding our pest control services
- Arrange for appointments with customers by working with the staff in our office
- Mix the correct amount of chemicals in the applicator based on your measurements of the infested area
- Investigate each location for the warning signs of any unwanted pests, such as rodents, vermin, bed bugs, or termites
Qualifications:
- Physically fit enough to lift 50 lbs and climb into confined spaces regularly
- Current U.S. driver’s license and clean driving record
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good customer service skills
- Clean background check
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to obtain a Pest Control License
- Capable of lifting up to 100 lbs, climbing stairs, accessing and exiting roof or attic areas utilizing a ladder, and going into crawl spaces
- Must have a mobile device with service to use pest control apps
