Oakbrook Corporation is seeking an experienced Property Manager to lead operations at Berkshire Kensington, a beautifully renovated 177-unit active adult (55+) community. This is an exciting opportunity for a property management professional who enjoys building strong resident relationships, leading teams, and creating an exceptional living experience for a vibrant community.

As Property Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring the community remains a place residents are proud to call home while driving occupancy, financial performance, and resident satisfaction.
What You'll Do
As the Property Manager, you'll oversee all aspects of daily operations, including:
- Provide outstanding customer service to residents, prospective residents, team members, and vendors
- Lead, supervise, train, and motivate on-site staff
- Build strong relationships with residents and foster a positive community culture
- Monitor operating budgets, capital expenditures, and property performance
- Prepare monthly reports, lease summaries, and operational analyses
- Review leases and ensure accurate resident file management
- Coordinate move-ins, move-outs, unit turns, and resident retention efforts
- Manage rent collections and delinquency procedures
- Drive occupancy goals through leasing and marketing initiatives
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and company policies
- Manage investor, state agency, and property inspections
- Respond to after-hours emergencies when necessary
- Maintain compliance with Affordable Housing programs
- Process move-ins and recertifications, including income and asset verifications
- Demonstrate and uphold Oakbrook's core values
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous supervisory experience
- Residential property management experience required
- Affordable Housing experience preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills
- Experience with property management software
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to conduct regular property inspections, with or without accommodation
- Valid driver's license required
