Security Guard – Splash Fresno
Location: 644 E. Olive Ave., Fresno, CA
Splash Fresno, the Central Valley’s premier LGBTQ+ nightclub, is looking for professional and reliable Security Staff to join our team. Our ideal candidates prioritize safety, de-escalation, and customer service while maintaining a welcoming and inclusive environment for all patrons.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor venue entry and exits, checking IDs and enforcing venue policies.
- Maintain a hands-off approach while using verbal de-escalation techniques to resolve conflicts.
- Ensure the safety of patrons and staff while fostering a positive nightlife experience.
- Assist in crowd control and manage capacity limits per city regulations.
- Conduct regular walkthroughs of the venue to identify and address potential security concerns.
- Respond to incidents professionally and document any notable occurrences.
- Collaborate with bar staff and management to enforce alcohol service policies.
Requirements:
- Must be 21+ years old to work in a nightclub setting.
- Valid California Guard Card required.
- Strong verbal communication and de-escalation skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced nightlife environment.
- Flexibility with night and weekend shifts (including holidays and special events).
- Prior nightclub or bar security experience is preferred but not required.
