Job Title: Senior Project Engineer

Location: Wauwatosa, Wisconsin (Onsite)

Key Responsibilities

\n

    \n
  • Lead engineering activities for new product development and design improvements.
  • \n

  • Develop and modify 3D models and engineering drawings using CREO.
  • \n

  • Perform bolted joint calculations to validate fastener selection, joint performance, and structural integrity.
  • \n

  • Support prototype builds, mock-up evaluations, and engineering validation activities.
  • \n

  • Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, suppliers, and testing teams throughout the product development cycle.
  • \n

  • Support PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) documentation and production readiness.
  • \n

  • Participate in design reviews and resolve engineering issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • \n

  • Ensure designs meet quality, performance, safety, and manufacturability requirements.
  • \n

  • Manage engineering changes and support production launch activities.
  • \n

\n

Required Skills

\n

    \n
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • \n

  • Experience with CREO for 3D modeling and engineering drawings.
  • \n

  • Strong knowledge of Bolted Joint Calculations.
  • \n

  • Experience supporting prototype builds and mock-up evaluations.
  • \n

  • Knowledge of PPAP and product launch processes.
  • \n

  • Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and engineering drawings.
  • \n

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • \n

\n

Preferred Qualifications

\n

    \n
  • Experience in Motorcycle, Automotive, Powersports, Heavy Equipment, or Manufacturing industries.
  • \n

  • Knowledge of GD&T, DFM/DFA, and engineering change management.
  • \n

  • Experience working with suppliers and manufacturing teams during product development.
  • \n
