As a Security Officer - Armed Position - Part Time in Trenton, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Our Armed Patrol Officers at a leading food and beverage location conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming atmosphere through strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Perform assigned armed post duties in accordance with Allied Universal standards, site policies, and applicable laws, maintaining professional bearing and proper handling of issued equipment.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report policy violations, maintenance concerns, and/or potential hazards that could affect operations or people at the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
