The Workplace Experience Coordinator ensures a welcoming, clean, and well-organized pantry and food service area while delivering outstanding customer service to employees and guests. This role manages inventory, supports daily food and beverage operations, assists with special events, and maintains strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards. The coordinator plays a key role in creating a positive workplace experience by combining operational excellence with a warm, professional presence.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of pantry, market, and back stock areas to ensure a tidy and efficient workspace.
  • Stock and rotate pantry inventory, ensuring all items are fresh, properly labeled, and within expiration dates.
  • Maintain full knowledge of the menu and product assortment to answer questions and support employees and guests effectively.
  • Order pantry supplies and receive deliveries, verifying accuracy and quality of items received.
  • Monitor inventory levels regularly and notify leadership when supplies are running low or need replenishment.
  • Set up and replenish self-serve food and beverage stations throughout the day to ensure consistent availability.
  • Keep all pantry and beverage equipment clean and in good working order, reporting any issues promptly.
  • Monitor the pantry area to ensure all food safety and sanitation guidelines are consistently followed.
  • Participate in food preparation and cleaning duties in compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Perform repetitive tasks that require frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of objects up to 25 lbs as part of daily operations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to employees and guests, offering a warm, welcoming, and professional experience.
  • Assist with special events or catering requests, including setup, replenishment, and cleanup as needed.
  • Deliver general administrative support related to pantry operations and workplace experience activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support overall workplace experience and facility operations.

Essential Skills

  • Previous food and beverage (F&B) experience required.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Strong customer service mindset with a professional presence.
  • Warm, welcoming, and friendly demeanor when interacting with visitors, employees, and guests.
  • Basic computer skills to support ordering, inventory tracking, and communication.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
  • Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and walk for extended periods of time during the workday.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks requiring frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects up to 25 lbs.
  • Comfort using cleaning chemicals and equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Experience in administrative support, customer service, or food service environments.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in workplace hospitality or workplace experience roles is beneficial.
  • Strong attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with employees, guests, and vendors.
  • Reliability and consistency in following established procedures and guidelines.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to assist with special events and evolving workplace needs.

Work Environment

This is an in-person role based on-site and is not remote. Typical working hours fall between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. or 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., with an assignment duration of approximately eight months and the possibility of extension. The work environment centers around pantry, market, and food service areas that require frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting. The coordinator works with food and beverage equipment, cleaning chemicals, and standard office technologies to support ordering and communication. The setting is service-oriented and fast-paced, with a focus on hospitality, cleanliness, and safety while supporting employees and guests throughout the workday. Attire is expected to be professional and appropriate for a customer-facing, food service–adjacent workplace where cleanliness and a polished appearance are important.

This is a Contract position based out of New York, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
