Job DescriptionTitle: Maintenance Controls SpecialistReports to: Production Maintenance ManagerJOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:This position is for a Maintenance Controls Specialist in a production environment. The Maintenance Controls Specialist is responsible for performing multiple duties to troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment.
Essential Functions

  1. Perform basic mechanic tasks including but not limited to troubleshooting and repair of mechanical and pneumatic production machines
  2. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  3. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments
  4. Controls system commissioning, startup, and qualification support
  5. Install, modify, and review PLC-based systems and HMI interfaces
  6. Understand the theory of motor drives, motor controls, sensors, actuators, heaters, refrigeration, pumps, and controllers.
  7. Knowledge
  8. Experience with electrical circuits including 3 phase 480Vac, 3 phase and single phase 240Vac, 120VAc and 24Vdc power distribution
  9. Ability to calibrate instrumentation (flow meters, level sensors, etc.)
  10. Good understanding of 21CFR11and GMP guidance documentation
  11. Comply with safety regulations
  12. Maintain clean and orderly work area

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

  1. This is a full-time position
  2. Wage range based on experience. is $22-25/hr

Required Education and Experience

  1. High school diploma/GED
  2. 4+ years of manufacturing experience; pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills.
  3. PLC and HMI experience a plus
