Job DescriptionTitle: Maintenance Controls SpecialistReports to: Production Maintenance ManagerJOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:This position is for a Maintenance Controls Specialist in a production environment. The Maintenance Controls Specialist is responsible for performing multiple duties to troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment.
Essential Functions
- Perform basic mechanic tasks including but not limited to troubleshooting and repair of mechanical and pneumatic production machines
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments
- Controls system commissioning, startup, and qualification support
- Install, modify, and review PLC-based systems and HMI interfaces
- Understand the theory of motor drives, motor controls, sensors, actuators, heaters, refrigeration, pumps, and controllers.
- Knowledge
- Experience with electrical circuits including 3 phase 480Vac, 3 phase and single phase 240Vac, 120VAc and 24Vdc power distribution
- Ability to calibrate instrumentation (flow meters, level sensors, etc.)
- Good understanding of 21CFR11and GMP guidance documentation
- Comply with safety regulations
- Maintain clean and orderly work area
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
- This is a full-time position
- Wage range based on experience. is $22-25/hr
Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma/GED
- 4+ years of manufacturing experience; pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills.
- PLC and HMI experience a plus
