Electronics Test Technician

Job Description

This role focuses on testing, troubleshooting, and assembling electronic and electromechanical products at the board and unit level. You will perform visual inspections, execute test procedures using electronic test equipment, document results in the ERP system, and support root cause investigations to ensure products meet quality and performance standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform visual inspections of populated and unpopulated printed circuit boards (PCBs) prior to testing to verify workmanship and readiness.
  • Conduct board-level testing, including firmware loading, functional verification, and basic troubleshooting in accordance with established test procedures.
  • Use electronic test equipment such as digital multimeters, power supplies, oscilloscopes, and other production test equipment to verify product performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of test results and report findings to Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams as required.
  • Assist with root cause investigations of recurring product failures when requested, providing detailed observations and test data.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Camarillo, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
