Emerging Measurements, aka EMCO, is seeking a highly motivated Data Measurement Analyst to join our team. At EMCO, we specialize in physical measurements crucial for enhanced performance, efficiency, safety, and durability across various sectors like government, industry, and biomedical research. With a focus on laser induced luminescence and fiber optic diagnostics, EMCO serves prestigious clients such as the DOE, Air Force, NASA, and General Electric. As a Data Measurement Analyst at EMCO, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing and interpreting data to drive meaningful insights and support our cutting-edge measurement technologies.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct data collection, analysis, and interpretation to draw actionable insights.
  • Develop and implement data measurement strategies to optimize performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
  • Create visualizations and reports to communicate data findings effectively.
  • Identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in data sets to inform decision-making.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of data measurement processes.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data analytics and measurement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in data analysis, preferably in a scientific or technical environment.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with complex data sets.
  • Knowledge of programming languages like Python, R, or SQL for data manipulation.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively present and explain data insights.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision in data analysis.
