At EMCO, we specialize in physical measurements crucial for enhanced performance, efficiency, safety, and durability across various sectors like government, industry, and biomedical research. With a focus on laser induced luminescence and fiber optic diagnostics, EMCO serves prestigious clients such as the DOE, Air Force, NASA, and General Electric. As a Data Measurement Analyst at EMCO, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing and interpreting data to drive meaningful insights and support our cutting-edge measurement technologies.
Responsibilities
- Conduct data collection, analysis, and interpretation to draw actionable insights.
- Develop and implement data measurement strategies to optimize performance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
- Create visualizations and reports to communicate data findings effectively.
- Identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in data sets to inform decision-making.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of data measurement processes.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data analytics and measurement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in data analysis, preferably in a scientific or technical environment.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with complex data sets.
- Knowledge of programming languages like Python, R, or SQL for data manipulation.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively present and explain data insights.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision in data analysis.
