We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to undertake the responsibility to preserve the good condition and functionality of multifamily, single family and commercial rental properties. Background in HVAC is a plus. Our properties are scattered site, so you work independently. You have to have reliable transportation and tools (we provide a generous fuel/vehicle use reimbursement).
The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and responsibly by observing all health and safety guidelines.
The goal is to maintain the buildings, interior of homes and common areas in the best possible condition.
Maintenance Tech Responsibilities:
- Ensure all service requests and repairs are made correctly and in a timely manner by yourself
- Comply with all personnel management policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with fellow associates, vendors and supervisors
- Assist with effective preventative maintenance program
- Adhere to budget guidelines, time reporting and documentation of tasks
- Based on skill set, assist other maintenance and turnkey operations
- Attend and participate in technical training programs to maintain personal skill level and growth
Specifics:
- Proven experience as maintenance technician
- Truck is preferred. Reliable transportation is a must (we provide a generous fuel/vehicle use reimbursement)
- Must have basic tools plus we will provide others as needed
- Scattered site requires strong organization skills, time management and a self-motivated individual
- Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime
- Ability to respond to emergency/on-call request
- Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance or relevant field is a huge plus
This position requires 100% local travel. Applicant must be willing to travel locally within a 30 mile radius of the office from property to property to complete work order requests. This position requires the use of your personal vehicle. We offer generous compensation for fuel/ vehicle reimbursement.
