We’re hiring a Manufacturing Quality Assurance Specialist for a client in the Carrollton area who will own in-line quality—driving MRB actions, root cause analysis, and tight feedback to engineering.
Your mission
Guard product integrity at the source. Keep assembly moving without compromising standards. Translate findings into better drawings, clearer work instructions, and a stronger process.
- Inspect at key points during assembly to catch issues early.
- Keep in-process inspection checklists current and effective.
- Surface critical in-line issues fast; craft visual job aids for technicians.
- Issue quality alerts for product/process non-conformances on the line.
- Contain and correct defects immediately; file NCNs and partner with the Director of Quality on weekly follow-ups.
- Lead MRB, perform rapid root cause analysis, and drive immediate dispositions.
- Collaborate with design and manufacturing engineers to enhance drawings and work instructions.
- Propose improvements that elevate both product quality and throughput.
Schedule & pay
- Shift: 1st Shift (7:00am–3:30 PM, Monday–Friday)
- Overtime: Must be flexible for overtime as needed
- Pay Rate: $20.00–$23.00 per hour DOE
- Location: Carrollton, TX
What it takes
- Skill with calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
- 1–2 years in manufacturing quality, inspection, or related work.
- Meticulous eye for detail and the urgency to correct defects immediately.
- Working knowledge of MRB processes and root cause methodologies.
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma and reliable transportation.
