A Pest Control Technician is responsible for managing and eliminating pests in residential, commercial, and industrial properties. This role involves inspecting sites, identifying pest issues, applying chemical or non-chemical treatments, and advising clients on pest prevention. The Technician ensures safe, effective service while complying with regulations and maintaining high customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Inspect property and identify pest infestations or hazards
- Develop and implement pest control strategies tailored to client needs
- Apply pesticides or other treatments safely following safety guidelines
- Monitor treated areas and perform follow-up visits as necessary
- Maintain accurate records of treatments, inspections, and outcomes
- Advise clients on prevention and pest management best practices
- Comply with all environmental, safety, and legal regulations
- Maintain and clean equipment and vehicles used for pest control operations
