Job DescriptionOvernight Assistant Technician – $24/hr.A food recovery and sustainability facility in the Mechanicsburg area is seeking dependable Assistant Technicians for a temp-to-hire opportunity.Schedule: 6:00 p.m.–6:30 a.m., rotating 2-2-3 schedule
Pay: $22/hr. plus $2/hr. overnight differential = $24/hr.
Training: Initial training will take place during daytime hours
Dress Code: Warehouse casual; steel-toe footwear required
Responsibilities:
- Inspect, empty, clean, and stack organic-material bins
- Perform preparation, cleaning, and light maintenance duties
- Operate manual pallet jacks
- Assist the Lead Technician with preventive maintenance and operational tasks
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Report safety or operational concerns promptly
- Participate in shift handoff meetings and scheduled training
- Complete other assigned production and facility duties
Requirements:
- Able to work in areas with changing temperatures, humidity, and wet conditions
- Comfortable performing physical and repetitive work throughout a 12-hour shift
- Able to follow safety procedures and work effectively as part of a team
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance required
- Steel-toe footwear required
