Job DescriptionCore Spaces Maintenance Technician
Are you a hands-on maintenance professional looking for a short-term opportunity with competitive pay? Midway Staffing is seeking reliable and skilled Maintenance Technicians to support a Core Spaces property in West Lafayette, IN. This project begins July 20, 2026, and is expected to last 4-6 weeks. Location: West Lafayette, IN
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, Day Shift (project runs approximately 4-6 weeks beginning July 20, 2026)
Pay Rate: Starting at $19.00/hour
Duties:
- Complete general apartment maintenance, repairs, and punch-list items.
- Perform light carpentry, painting, drywall patching, and basic plumbing or electrical repairs as needed.
- Prepare units for new residents by ensuring they are clean, safe, and move-in ready.
- Maintain a safe, organized work area while following all property and safety procedures.
Requirements:
- Previous maintenance, facilities, apartment, or property maintenance experience preferred.
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including standing, bending, climbing, and walking throughout the shift.
- Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic with dependable attendance.
