Job Description
- Maintain cleanliness and appearance of assigned areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, laundry rooms, etc.
- Perform facilities maintenance duties, including minor repairs and maintenance tasks
- Prepare outdoor areas for various weather conditions by weatherproofing areas, covering outdoor furniture with tarps, tying down unsecured items
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment in good working condition
- Assist with moving furniture and equipment as required
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Follow safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Porter or in a similar role - Preferred
- A high school diploma or equivalent (Preferred not Required)
- Basic knowledge of cleaning supplies and maintenance tools
- Ability to follow instructions, strong attention to detail, and time management skills
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy objects
Additional Information
Property: Chesapeake Bay - 216 units
Pay: $19-$20 - hourly
Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8am - 5pm
