Job Summary

The ERP Manager, reporting to the Director of MIS, is a hands-on technology leader responsible for the performance, support, and continuous improvement of the ERP platform within a growing manufacturing environment.

\n

This role serves as the primary owner of the ERP system (Infor SyteLine), with a strong emphasis on enhancing system utilization, reporting, and data visibility to support operational execution, financial accuracy, and scalable growth.

\n

The ERP Manager acts as a strategic partner to operations and finance—translating business needs into practical, scalable ERP and data solutions, while maintaining direct involvement in system configuration, reporting, troubleshooting, and integrations.

\n

This is a hands-on role requiring direct involvement in system configuration, reporting, data modeling, and troubleshooting.

\n

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

\n

ERP Leadership – Infor SyteLine

\n

    \n
  • Act as a strategic partner to operations and finance, ensuring ERP capabilities directly support business performance and decision-making.
  • \n

  • Own and lead all aspects of Infor SyteLine, including configuration, enhancements, upgrades, workflows, and integrations.
  • \n

  • Ensure ERP processes align with business operations, financial reporting, and internal controls.
  • \n

  • Drive increased ERP utilization and reduce reliance on manual workarounds and offline processes.
  • \n

  • Partner with operations, finance, and supply chain leaders to improve system adoption and process consistency.
  • \n

\n

Hands-On System Administration & Support

\n

    \n
  • Actively support and troubleshoot ERP-related issues across the organization.
  • \n

  • Configure system settings, workflows, and user roles/security.
  • \n

  • Manage and develop the ERP Administrator; set priorities and ensure execution.
  • \n

  • Ensure system stability, performance, and data integrity.
  • \n

\n

Data, Reporting & Business Intelligence

\n

    \n
  • Own enterprise reporting strategy and standards.
  • \n

  • Develop and support reporting tools including SQL Server, SSRS, and Power BI.
  • \n

  • Build dashboards and data models that provide actionable insights to operations and finance.
  • \n

  • Deliver and standardize KPI reporting, including:
  • \n

  • OEE
  • \n

  • Labor utilization and efficiency
  • \n

  • Inventory turns / DIO
  • \n

  • Cost and margin performance
  • \n

\n

Manufacturing & Cost Data Alignment

\n

    \n
  • Ensure ERP accurately reflects manufacturing processes including:
  • \n

  • Routings and standard hours
  • \n

  • Labor tracking and efficiency
  • \n

  • Inventory and WIP flows
  • \n

  • Outside operations
  • \n

  • Support financial accuracy through alignment with:
  • \n

  • Standard costing
  • \n

  • Labor and overhead absorption
  • \n

  • Variance analysis (labor, overhead, material)
  • \n

Data Governance & Integration

\n

    \n
  • Establish and maintain data governance standards.
  • \n

  • Support development of data warehousing and structured reporting environments.
  • \n

  • Manage ERP integrations with internal and external systems (MES, automation, EDI, etc.).
  • \n

  • Support API and data architecture strategies.
  • \n

\n

Automation & Continuous Improvement

\n

    \n
  • Identify and implement opportunities for automation (RPA, workflows, system improvements).
  • \n

  • Support adoption of AI-enabled tools where practical.
  • \n

  • Evaluate, recommend, and support implementation of future-state technologies (MES, shop floor data collection, IoT, and automation solutions), including development of business cases and ROI analysis.
  • \n

  • Drive continuous improvement in system usage, reporting efficiency, and data accuracy.
  • \n

Project & Management

  • Lead ERP-related projects including system upgrades, process improvements, and new implementations.
  • \n

  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and aligned with business priorities.
  • \n

\n

Success Metrics (First 12–24 Months)

  • Reduction in manual/Excel-based reporting.
  • \n

  • Increased ERP utilization across departments.
  • \n

  • Deployment of standardized KPI dashboards.
  • \n

  • Improved data accuracy (inventory, labor, costing).

Position Requirements

\n

    \n
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
  • \n

  • 5+ years of ERP experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • \n

  • Strong hands-on experience with Infor SyteLine.
  • \n

  • 2+ years of leadership or team management experience.
  • \n

  • Experience with SQL Server and ERP reporting tools (SSRS or similar).
  • \n

  • Experience developing dashboards and data models using BI tools (Power BI preferred).
  • \n

  • Solid understanding of manufacturing operations and data flows.
  • \n

\n

Strongly Preferred

  • Experience with Advanced Power BI (DAX, data modeling, governance).
  • \n

  • Knowledge of:
  • \n

  • Standard costing and cost accounting
  • \n

  • Labor reporting and efficiency metrics
  • \n

  • Inventory, WIP, and variance analysis
  • \n

  • Azure, Active Directory, and enterprise IT environments
  • \n

  • AI/automation tools (Power Automate, Copilot, RPA)
