About the Company
Paleovalley and Wild Pastures were born from a simple but radical idea: real food can heal — people, animals, and the planet. When Paleovalley co-founders Autumn and Chas Smith saw how industrialized food was affecting human health and the health of the land, they refused to play along. Autumn’s own journey of healing through nutrient-dense foods lit a fire that became Paleovalley. From there, the mission grew roots, sprouted wings, and eventually expanded into Wild Pastures to bring regeneratively raised meats directly to families nationwide.
Today, Paleovalley crafts deeply nourishing snacks and supplements made with organic ingredients and honorable sourcing. Wild Pastures connects small American farmers practicing regenerative agriculture with customers who believe better food is worth fighting for. Every product, every partnership, and every decision is guided by a commitment to real ingredients, regenerative practices, and the belief that health is built from the soil up.
We’re a team of grounded doers, curious thinkers, bold builders, and warm humans who like to laugh while doing meaningful work. We're growing quickly, fueled by purpose and a shared desire to repair the food system one thoughtful choice at a time. If you feel energized by impact, drawn to mission, and ready to join a company rewriting the future of food, we’d love to meet you!
About the Opportunity
This role serves as the primary owner of maintenance and facility operations for our Marysville warehouse. We’re looking for a highly capable, self-directed maintenance professional who can independently manage day-to-day facility needs, troubleshoot and repair warehouse equipment and building systems, and coordinate larger-scale repairs and vendor partnerships that keep the operation running smoothly.
As the sole onsite maintenance and facilities resource, this role plays a critical part in supporting warehouse operations, minimizing downtime, maintaining a safe and functional environment, and proactively identifying operational improvements across the facility. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems independently, and balancing hands-on technical work with broader facility oversight responsibilities.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the primary onsite owner for maintenance and facility operations at the Paleovalley & Wild Pastures Marysville Warehouse
- Perform hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs for warehouse equipment, dock doors, pallet jacks, racking, lighting, plumbing fixtures, electrical components, and other facility systems
- Execute and maintain preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend the life of equipment and facility assets
- Monitor the condition, cleanliness, and functionality of the warehouse facility and proactively identify repair or improvement needs
- Coordinate and oversee external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or services, including HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, pest control, and building-related work
- Submit maintenance requests, track vendor timelines, and help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and within budget expectations
- Support facility-related compliance efforts, including OSHA standards, warehouse safety practices, and general building safety protocols
- Respond quickly to maintenance issues and operational disruptions to help keep warehouse operations running smoothly
- Maintain organized maintenance logs, inspection records, supply inventories, and repair documentation
- Assist with warehouse improvement projects, facility upgrades, equipment installations, and space optimization initiatives
- Partner closely with warehouse leadership and cross-functional teams to prioritize maintenance needs, support operational goals, and help drive long-term facility improvements
- Help maintain a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse environment through routine inspections and proactive problem-solving
- Operate tools, equipment, lifts, and other machinery safely and responsibly while following company safety procedures
