We are presently seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to join our team for our community near Port St. Lucie, Florida. In this role, you’ll perform basic repairs, general grounds and lawn maintenance to homes owned by the community.
As a successful Maintenance Technician, you will:
- Perform assigned work orders, as well as preventative maintenance on the property.
- Completes the “make-ready” process to prepare vacant units for leasing and new move-ins.
- Assist in maintaining the grounds, common areas, and amenities by picking up trash and debris.
- Document work orders in a timely, accurate, and complete fashion to ensure proper tracking.
- Maintain proper inventory of materials, supplies, equipment, tools, and other items.
- Ensure to consistently provide a high level of customer service to tenants, vendors and staff.
- Remain available for “on-call” duties as needed.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliance repairs, HVAC, and carpentry is a plus.
- Valid operator’s license.
- Ability to lift or to move up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to bend, stretch, twist, walk continuously, and access restricted spaces.
- Ability to tolerate exposure to various chemical compounds
