Senior Software Engineer, Product — AI Platform, Insurtech | SF (On-site)
Client is a 25-person AI startup automating the $1.5T insurance brokerage industry. Series A raised, 7-figure ARR in under a year, 25% of the top 50 brokers already as clients. Tried-and-tested founders moving fast in a massive, underdigitized market.
You'll own 01 MVP development and 110 scaling of agentic infrastructure — turning hours of manual broker work into 3–4 minute workflows.
What you'll do
- Build complete features across the full stack (frontend + backend)
- Build deep browser automations into legacy insurance systems
- Own product manager and engineer responsibilities end-to-end
- Incorporate customer feedback directly into product and features
- Optimize for performance, scalability, and throughput
Stack: TypeScript, Python
Strong fit if you have:
- 4–8 years full-stack engineering at a VC-backed startup (Seed to Series E)
- At least 70/30 split across frontend and backend (either direction)
- Track record of shipping user-focused products fast
- CS degree from a global top 50 university
Details:
- Full-time, 5 days on-site in SF
- $200K–$300K base depends on experience + competitive equity
- Open to visa transfers; no new sponsorship
