Maintenance Technicians
Locations: Springfield and Eaton, Ohio
Shifts: 6AM-6PM, 6PM-6AM
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment, machinery, motors, conveyor systems, pneumatic tools, and utilities.
- Troubleshoot mechanical equipment failures by inspecting equipment, diagnosing issues, and using precision measuring and testing instruments.
- Develop and manage Preventive Maintenance schedules, checklists, and downtime tracking systems.
- Monitor and improve equipment reliability and uptime by minimizing planned and unplanned downtime.
- Repair, install, modify, and maintain production machinery, tools, and facility equipment.
- Maintain spare parts, equipment, and maintenance supply inventories, including ordering and tracking stock levels.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, quality, management, contractors, and service providers to resolve equipment and maintenance issues.
- Perform minor electrical work, including conduit installation, conductor sizing, grounding, and related electrical support tasks.
- Support facility utilities, equipment upgrades, and installation projects.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, operating procedures.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2–4 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of electrical, PLC, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and fabricate manufacturing and facility equipment.
- Familiarity with automation systems and CMMS software.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Proficient with computers and maintenance databases.
Physical Requirements
- Regularly required to stand, use hands, and lift up to 10 pounds.
- Frequently reach, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and work around moving machinery.
- Must have good close and distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to mechanical equipment, airborne particles, moderate noise, and occasional humid conditions.
- Ability to safely perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
