ASSISTANT TREATMENT FOREMAN
SOUTHINGTON WATER DEPARTMENT
The Southington Water Department is seeking candidates for an Assistant Treatment Foreman position. Under the general direction of the Treatment Foreman, Assistant Superintendent and/or Superintendent, this position is responsible for overseeing all daily and periodic functions to insure proper operation and control of the Reservoir Treatment Plant, wells, tanks and pumping facilities. To be considered for this position, candidates must have a H.S. diploma or equivalent and meet the following experience and certification requirements:
· Possess and maintain State of Connecticut Certification as Water-Treatment Plant Class IV Operator within 18 months of appointment.
· Have a minimum of five (5) years Water Treatment experience in water utility operations.
· Possess a valid State of Connecticut Motor Vehicle Operator License.
Wages: $41.28 - $43.70 hourly plus an excellent fringe benefit package which includes a pension retirement plan and health insurance through the Connecticut Partnership Plan 2.0. Resumes can be dropped off at our main office at 605 W Queen Street, Southington, CT 06489.
