Job Skills/Requirements
As you might expect maintenance, repairs, and services will be at the heart of what your job will entail. For the most part, you'll
- Provide prompt and courteous service to all internal and external customer.
- Ensure all facility systems and other equipment are performing at optimal levels by performing routine preventive maintenance.
- Perform general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include: repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors and other building fixtures.
- Knowledge of minor electrical and plumbing repairs. Examples may include: fixing leaky faucets, replacing light switches or outlets, unclogging drains/toilets.
- Occasionally build furniture. Examples: carts, bookshelves, desk.
- Move and arrange desks, furniture and partitions when needed.
- Perform other related duties and activities as required.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance team members.
- Knowledge of general carpentry and repair.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
- Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, climb, bend and kneel.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to use hands and fingers to grasp, twist, and pull.
- Withstand external weather conditions, such as working outside in the rain, cold, heat or other adverse weather as needed.
- Valid Driver's License
