Maintenance Tech

7am-4pm Mon-Fri
Direct hire+benefits
$25-$28 (BOE) +overtime
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions using manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools
- Repair or replace defective parts such as motors, belts, bearings, valves, and sensors
- Conduct preventive maintenance inspections to minimize downtime
- Install and set up new machinery and production equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical systems including PLCs, motors, and control circuits
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation
- Follow safety procedures and comply with OSHA and company safety standards
- Assist with continuous improvement and equipment upgrades
- Work with production teams to quickly resolve breakdowns
Required Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (technical certification preferred)
- Experience in industrial maintenance (manufacturing environment preferred)
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Basic understanding of PLC troubleshooting (advanced knowledge preferred)
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic instruments
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
