We are seeking an Assistant Superintendent to become a part of our team! We are looking for individuals with strong written and verbal communication skills & computer skills and a minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction which demonstrates expertise in supervising and coordinating all phases of field operations. A college or technical school degree in construction management, engineering or business is a plus.
Compensation:
$34.00/Hr + Per Diem when traveling.
Responsibilities:
- Coordination and supervision of all work on site to ensure project is completed on schedule, within budget and in accordance with Owner’s expectations
- Site safety including coordination with in-house Safety Officer
- Development of detailed project schedule
- Daily communication with subcontractors and suppliers
- Management of field changes including coordination with Project Manager to ensure all changes requiring budget adjustments are handled expeditiously
- Excellent communication with Owner’s and Architect’s representatives
- Maintenance of excellent project documentation
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in commercial construction management
- Experience in healthcare construction a plus.
- Ability to interface with clients on project details.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
