Join Our Quality Assurance Team!

Are you detail-oriented and passionate about quality? We're seeking a QA Technician to support a high-volume print and direct mail production facility. In this role, you'll ensure client projects meet strict quality standards throughout the production process while maintaining compliance with company procedures, postal regulations, and security requirements.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in quality control, direct mail, print production, or manufacturing who thrive in a fast-paced environment.


What You'll Do

  • Review job specifications and verify printed and inserted materials meet client and quality standards.
  • Perform quality inspections throughout the production process to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Create and maintain job jackets for daily production projects.
  • Complete and maintain accurate production paperwork, logs, and quality documentation.
  • Monitor insert tracking systems to ensure all materials are properly accounted for.
  • Identify quality issues, discrepancies, or production variances and escalate concerns when necessary.
  • Support postal processing by marking completed jobs and generating daily production reports.
  • Work closely with production teams to ensure customer specifications are met and deadlines are achieved.
  • Maintain compliance with ISO quality procedures, security protocols, and HIPAA requirements when handling sensitive information.
  • Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency.


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 6 months to 1 year of experience in a quality-focused manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality defects and inconsistencies.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems.
  • Familiarity with postal regulations and mail production processes.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.


Physical & Work Environment

  • Fast-paced print and direct mail production environment.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
  • May be required to work overtime based on production demands.
  • Must maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive client information.
