Job Description
As a Security Officer Customer Service Patrol in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. In this unarmed role, you will support access awareness, assist occupants and visitors with professionalism, and deliver strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related events according to location guidelines.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas, verify authorized access when required, and communicate with property management and/or emergency services as needed.
- Support daily operations at a commercial real estate location by observing building activity, reporting maintenance or life-related concerns, and following post instructions for security-related coverage.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
