Maintenance Manager
If you’re a senior maintenance supervisor ready to step into leadership or a working Maintenance Manager who enjoys staying close to the equipment, this role offers real ownership, visibility, and the chance to shape how maintenance runs in a smaller, agile plant. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you’ll lead from the floor, influence capital improvements, strengthen preventive maintenance systems, and directly impact production reliability and safety. Growth potential in 2-3 years to Plant Management is a definite option.
What you’ll own
- Lead all preventive and reactive maintenance activities to keep production running safely and efficiently
- Troubleshoot and repair key equipment, including extrusion and downstream systems, drives, motors, chillers, and controls
- Manage and improve the CMMS, ensuring PMs are completed on time and maintenance data drives smarter decisions
- Guide and develop maintenance technicians through coaching, training, and cross-training
- Maintain spare parts strategy and vendor relationships to minimize downtime
- Identify reliability risks and lead continuous improvement initiatives that boost uptime and safety
- Support capital planning by identifying equipment upgrades and helping build business cases
- Maintain accurate asset tracking and ensure strong work-order planning and execution
What makes you successful here
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Ability to read electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical schematics confidently
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting, industrial wiring, drives, motors, and power distribution
- Knowledge of safety standards, including LOTO, Arc Flash, PPE, and applicable electrical codes
- Leadership mindset - able to prioritize work, coordinate technicians, and communicate effectively across production, engineering, and vendors
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and maintenance systems to manage workflow and reporting
What you bring
- 8+ years of industrial maintenance experience (electrical and controls exp. required)
- Prior supervisory or maintenance leadership experience required
- Technical training in electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems is needed
- Plastics or extrusion manufacturing experience helpful but not required
- Professionals must have experience in a manufacturing production setting
Compensation
- Base salary up to $150K/year, depending on experience. Relocation assistance
