We are currently seeking experienced, dependable Building Maintenance Technicians who are committed to providing exceptional service to our residents and maintaining our communities with professionalism, urgency, and pride. Position Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to maintenance service requests.
- Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, drywall, flooring, doors, windows, locks, and general building systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance to reduce future repairs.
- Prepare vacant apartments for new residents by completing quality unit turns.
- Maintain accurate work order documentation and communicate progress effectively.
- Participate in the on-call rotation for emergency maintenance services as assigned.
- Identify potential maintenance concerns before they become larger problems.
- Deliver courteous, respectful, and professional customer service to every resident.
Qualifications
- Previous apartment building maintenance or residential maintenance experience required.
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, drywall, painting, and carpentry.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple service requests while maintaining quality workmanship.
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift, climb, bend, and perform the physical demands of the position.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and dependable attendance.
