As a Security Officer Area Patrol in Little Rock, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service while working with a team that values being agile, reliable, innovative, and acting with integrity in all interactions.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government transit location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or public agencies as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, platforms, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unsecured areas, and other security-related concerns.
- Monitor entrances, public areas, and restricted locations to help control access, observe daily activity, and report policy violations, maintenance issues, and/or suspicious behavior.
- Support crowd management and orderly operations during peak travel periods, service disruptions, special events, and/or emergency situations while maintaining a professional presence.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
