Lead the Backbone of IT Infrastructure

CompuOne Corporation is a full-service managed IT services provider headquartered in San Diego seeking a Network Administrator to join our team. This is your opportunity to play a vital role in designing, managing, and securing advanced network environments across multiple client sites.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the design, implementation, and support of scalable network infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls, wireless, etc.)
- Assisting in the analysis and support of IT problems, ensuring efficient resolution.
- Monitor and optimize network performance, availability, and security using industry best practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, escalating and coordinating with vendors as needed
- Configure and maintain VLANs, STP, LACP, QoS, and security protocols
- Administer and maintain systems including Cisco, VMWare, Azure, SQL Server, SharePoint, Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and Office 365.
- Manage virtualization platforms including VMware, Hyper-V, and Azure
- Oversee system audits, documentation, and disaster recovery planning
- Stay ahead of emerging technologies and recommend improvements
- Travel to client sites locally as needed (mileage reimbursement provided)
What You Bring to the Table:
- 2+ years of experience in network administration and IT infrastructure support
- Proven expertise in switching, routing, and firewall management
- Advanced knowledge of network security practices and access controls
- Strong command of Microsoft environments, including Office 365 and Active Directory
- Experience managing virtual environments (VMware, Hyper-V, ESXi, Azure)
- Proficiency with network monitoring and diagnostic tools
- Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills
- Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple projects, and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Networking, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, CompTIA Network+, or Microsoft Certified
- Experience working in a MSP (Managed Services Provider) environment is a plus
