Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Chugiak, AK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a utility location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong customer service and communication. This armed and driving post calls for professionalism, integrity, and teamwork while responding to site needs with an agile, reliable, and people-first approach.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence in accordance with site guidelines and Allied Universal protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or unauthorized access.
- Prepare accurate reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities, and communicate relevant information to supervisors, client contacts, and/or public responders as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- An armed guard card and/or license is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
