Job DescriptionUnited Talent is immediately hiring a Maintenance Lead for a company in Charleston WV!Job Duties include:
- Assisted with daily maintenance operations and supervised maintenance staff as needed.
- Completed work orders and responded to resident maintenance requests.
- Performed general building maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
- Conducted inspections to identify repair and maintenance needs.
- Completed carpentry projects including framing, doors, windows, cabinets, flooring, and drywall repairs.
- Performed electrical repairs including outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, and basic wiring.
- Installed, repaired, and maintained plumbing systems, fixtures, drains, and water lines.
- Repaired and maintained appliances, equipment, and mechanical systems.
- Completed interior and exterior building repairs including roofing, concrete, masonry, fencing, and structural repairs.
- Prepared surfaces and performed painting, staining, drywall finishing, and touch-up work.
- Operated and maintained hand tools, power tools, small engines, and maintenance vehicles.
- Assisted with HVAC installation, maintenance, and repairs.
- Performed welding, cutting, and metal fabrication projects.
- Maintained grounds, parking areas, and exterior property features.
- Ensured compliance with safety standards, HUD regulations, and company policies.
- Coordinated with contractors and monitored project completion.
- Maintained accurate maintenance records, reports, and documentation.
- Kept work areas, equipment, and materials clean, organized, and properly stored.
Pay and shift: Monday – Friday 8am – 4:30pm. Pay is $17.25 Requirements:
- Experience in construction, maintenance, landscaping, or painting
- Strong work ethic and willingness to assist where needed
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
