We are looking for a skilled Cable and Harness Technician to join our Harness Manufacturing department at our Gilbert Manufacturing Center. In this role, you won’t just build hardware; you’ll be part of a mission-driven team that supports cutting-edge aerospace and defense technologies.
This position is a 2nd Shift role (3p-12:30a), operating on a 9/80 schedule (working 9-hour days with every other Friday off).
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture cable and harness products in accordance with engineering requirements.
- Read and interpret Work Instructions, schematics, wirelists, and engineering drawings.
- Ensure product quality is maintained and all company procedures and ISO protocols are strictly followed.
- Complete work with a focus on accuracy, completeness, and adherence to operation sheets and production schedules.
- Provide regular status updates and communicate technical issues to shop leads and Work Center management.
- Maintain compliance with ESD (Electro-Static Discharge) protocols and crimping standards.
Basic Qualifications
- Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED plus a minimum of 5 additional years of combined education and/or relevant experience in assembly, electronics, manufacturing, production, or logistics.
- Industry Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical assembly and wiring.
- Certifications: Must be capable of successfully completing certification to IPC WHMA-A-620 (Cable and Wire Harness Assembly) and NASA-J-STD.

- Proven experience reading and interpreting drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Exceptional mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Hands-on experience with ESD and Crimping processes.
- Software: Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate of a Technical Trade School.
- Active/Current certification in IPC WHMA-A-620 or NASA-J-STD
- Experience with MES applications, including workflow management, digital signoff, and documentation control.
