Responsibilities:
- Monitor and patrol assigned premises to prevent unauthorized access, theft, or vandalism
- Conduct regular security checks of buildings, entrances, and perimeters
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies following proper protocols
- Document and report suspicious activity, security breaches, and daily observations in incident reports
- Control access points by verifying credentials and managing visitor entry
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary
- Maintain a visible, professional presence to deter criminal activity
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Georgia Security Guard license or ability to obtain one
- Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military is a plus
- Strong observational and situational awareness skills
- Excellent communication and report-writing abilities
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends
- Clean background check and professional demeanor
