Key Responsibilities

- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of maintenance technicians through coaching, scheduling, performance management, and training.
- Manage preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Oversee the maintenance and safe operation of ammonia refrigeration systems, boilers, and other critical plant utilities.
- Utilize CMMS software to manage work orders, maintenance planning, preventive maintenance schedules, and performance reporting.
- Lead root cause analysis efforts and implement corrective actions to improve equipment performance and reduce recurring failures.
- Coordinate maintenance planning and scheduling to support production goals while optimizing labor and resources.
- Manage maintenance inventory, spare parts, and vendor relationships to ensure operational readiness.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, GMP standards, environmental requirements, and company safety initiatives.
- Partner with production, engineering, and operations teams to improve plant reliability and support continuous improvement projects.
- Assist with capital projects, equipment upgrades, and cost-saving initiatives while monitoring maintenance KPIs and budget performance.

Qualifications
\n

- 5+ years of maintenance leadership experience within a manufacturing or industrial production environment.
- Previous experience supervising and developing maintenance teams.
- Hands-on experience maintaining industrial manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
- Required experience with ammonia refrigeration systems and boiler operations.
- Strong knowledge of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies.
- Experience using CMMS software for maintenance planning and work order management.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot equipment issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, GMP standards, and industrial safety practices.
- Experience managing maintenance schedules, spare parts inventory, and maintenance budgets.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Food, beverage, dairy, or other high-volume manufacturing experience is preferred.
