Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a large-scale Managed Security Services (MSSP) program.. This individual will oversee project planning, implementation, onboarding, and ongoing coordination of cybersecurity services while serving as the primary point of coordination between technical teams, stakeholders, and leadership.
The ideal candidate is a strong project leader with experience managing complex technology implementations, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to keep multiple projects moving while ensuring quality, communication, and customer satisfaction.
Essential Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day project management for cybersecurity implementation and service delivery projects.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and resource assignments.
- Coordinate the implementation and onboarding of cybersecurity technologies and services.
- Monitor project risks, identify issues, and develop mitigation plans.
- Facilitate project meetings and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
- Maintain project documentation, including schedules, action items, risk logs, meeting minutes, and status reports.
- Coordinate cross-functional technical teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Support project governance, reporting, and service-level agreement (SLA) tracking.
- Escalate issues when appropriate and help drive timely resolution.
- Build strong working relationships with clients, technical teams, and project stakeholders.
- Ensure projects are completed in accordance with established project management methodologies and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of project management experience.
- At least 7 years managing cybersecurity, information security, managed services, IT infrastructure, or technology implementation projects.
- Experience leading multiple concurrent implementation or onboarding projects.
- Experience managing enterprise technology implementations involving multiple stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and change management.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using project management tools and Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Cybersecurity certification such as CISM, Security+, CISSP, or similar.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts including:

- Security Operations Centers (SOC)
- SIEM platforms
- Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR)
- Incident Response
- Threat Detection
- Vulnerability Management
- Experience supporting government or public-sector technology projects.
