Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

This role supports the Operations Maintenance team by installing, maintaining, and repairing automated packaging, distribution, and material handling equipment within a high-volume facility at one of the largest companies in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance routines on material handling equipment and conveyer systems.
  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on material handling equipment, including belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and related components.
  • Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment, including conveyor systems and associated controls.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics to support installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Support pneumatic systems throughout the building by inspecting, maintaining, and repairing components as needed.

Essential Skills

  • 2 years of Industrial Maintenance experience (preferred conveyor maintenance experience).
  • At least 1 year of experience reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
  • At least 1 year of knowledge and hands-on experience with electrical and electronic principles.
  • Ability to lift up to 49–50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks such as kneeling, squatting, climbing steps or ladders, and reaching above the head.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, including shifts lasting up to 12 hours, with or without reasonable accommodation.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenfield, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.50 - $32.50/hr.
