Job DescriptionPeoplelink Staffing has partnered with Legends Manufacturing in the Central Michigan area and is in search of assembling premium trailers. Typical roles like assembly line worker, welders and Maintenance Tech. The ideal candidates will work Monday - Friday. Able to work 40 - 60 hours a week.
General Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, including air compressors, rolling stock, production machinery, HVAC systems, plumbing, and other facility equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using schematics and technical documentation.
- Repair and maintain hand and power tools, including drills, saws, and other shop equipment.
- Repair and rebuild welding leads as needed.
- Respond to maintenance issues during production to minimize equipment downtime.
- Communicate parts, supplies, and maintenance needs proactively with the Purchasing Department.
- Fill Loctite cartridges for production departments as needed.
- Follow all Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and other safety policies.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in an organized manner.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Assist the Maintenance Manager with additional maintenance and facility-related tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Experience using a variety of hand and power tools; maintenance experience preferred.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical equipment; electrical experience is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions, schematics, and technical documents.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and reach for extended periods.
- Work safely in a manufacturing environment around machinery and equipment.
- Ability to use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
