Job DescriptionMy Next Career Path Staffing is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and repair industrial machinery. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, experience with electrical and hydraulic systems, and a commitment to workplace safety and equipment reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions and complete repairs in a timely manner.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Install, maintain, and replace motors, bearings, belts, pumps, conveyors, and other industrial equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential maintenance issues before failures occur.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete work orders.
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and facility improvement projects.
- Respond to emergency maintenance calls as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting is preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to pass a drug screening and criminal background check.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, bend, climb ladders, kneel, and work in confined spaces.
- Comfortable working in manufacturing or industrial environments with varying temperatures.
- Ability to work overtime and occasional weekends as required.
Schedule & PaySchedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday 7:00 Am – 5:00 Pm (Overtime may be required)Pay: $28.00 per hour (DOE)
