Hire Priority Staffing is hiring an experienced Apartment Make Ready Technician for a multifamily apartment community in Central East Austin. This is a great opportunity for a dependable, hard-working team member with Make Ready experience who can help prepare apartment homes for new resident move-in and support daily property maintenance needs.We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can handle apartment turns efficiently, and is comfortable assisting with basic work orders in a fast-paced apartment community.
Job Details:
- Pay: $22/hr. + DOE
- Position Type: Full-Time/Temp-to-Hire
- Location: Austin, TX 78724
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Complete make ready work to prepare vacant apartment homes for new resident move-in
- Assist with apartment turns, punch work, and unit preparation
- Perform basic work orders and general maintenance tasks as assigned
- Assist with basic repairs involving appliances, fixtures, doors, cabinets, walls, and other unit items
- Help maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and readiness of vacant units
- Work closely with the maintenance team to prioritize daily tasks and turn schedules
- Support the overall upkeep and functionality of the community as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous make ready experience required
- Basic work order or apartment maintenance experience preferred
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
- Must have your own basic tools
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail required
- Must be dependable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to provide valid identification, proof of authorization to work in the United States, and complete the application and interview process
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
